Mayor Rama darts tonite
CEBU, Philippines – The highly-anticipated 1st Mayor Mike Rama Inter-barangay Darts Tournament unfolds tonight at Yayoy's Grill along Orchid Street, this city.
The tournament will have three events - team, doubles and the youth singles.
A total of 15 teams composed of seasoned and fast-rising players from different barangays will be battling for supremacy in the team competition.
Each team must be composed of four darters each.
For the doubles event, 36 pairs have already enlisted in this event that is also fully supported by councilor Raul "Yayoy" Alcoseba.
The youth division, on the other hand, will have a total of 22 participants.
The organizing Cebu City Hall Employees' Darts Association (CHEDA) led by Bert Colong Jr. is happy with the turn out although this would also mean a lot of work on their part.
The event will be staged every Friday and is expected to end late September. (THE FREEMAN)
