DTCC to field 28 couples in Manila dancefest

CEBU, Philippines - Before hosting another international event on the dancefloor, Dancesport-Team Cebu City will field in 28 couples to the 2010 DSCPI National Mid-Year Dancesport Rankings and Competition at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila on July 17.

This time, DTCC will be composed of veterans and neophytes who made their marks in the year-long barangay dancesport competition here.

Ansel Estillore and Mae Lozada are the brightest prospects among the local bets. They are being groomed as the next Cebuano talents that will be carrying the country’s flag in future international competitions in the premiere latin A action.

Aside from pairing with Lozada, Estillore is also set to compete in the latin special event 2-5 together with the ever graceful Eleanor Hayco.

Hayco is also competing in the standard B along with Lloyd Bartolini.

Another hardworking official of DTCC, Victoria Alix, and her ever-trusted dance partner Renante Saldua will show their stuff in the standard SE2F and SE2-4 class.

The tandem of Mae Pabuaya and Samson Orlanes promised to give their all-out best in the latin A and standard C, while the trusted pair of Miljane Camacho and Bernie Tumarong are poised to harvest medals in the standard A along with Joel and Anabelle Madera.

The other DTCC bets include Christopher Albert Corro and Hanna Jane Diluvio, Constantino Alo and Cecil Llamedo, Wilbert Aunzo and Pearl Marie Cañeda, Jeric Canoy and Jessa Mae Briones, Rinzon and Reyana Mae Elarcosa, Mark Rhony Flores and Michaelyn Ledda, Joseph Getaruelas and Lilibeth Paguio, Nelson Jabonero and Venus Mae Balde, Roque and Rhea Marquez, Alexander Montero and Maria Corazon Balbuena, Jimmy Noel and Elizabeth Zetz, Rolan Pacaña, Jace Philip Piner and Mary Joy Dumosmog, Ronald Ruiz and Jocelyn Versteeg, Crispin Sato and Thea Quilaton, Reymar Udarbe and Arlyn Eco and Davin Unabia and Kinue Sakurai. – THE FREEMAN
