Losiaboi, De los Santos dominate Kapamilya foot race
CEBU, Philippines - Simon Losiaboi and Mary Grace de los Santos shone the brightest in the 10th DyAB Kapamilya Run at the Asia Town IT Park grounds in Brgy. Apas, this city.
Losiaboi topped the 15-kilometer race in 52 minutes and 43.13 seconds.
Little-known Arvirg Busa trailed Losiaboi with the time of 53:45.14, while Adonis Singson came out third with a 54:10.20 clocking.
Joebert Carolino emerged fourth with 57:11.37, while a boxer training under the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) Ian Refuela landed fifth in 58:56.24.
De los Santos, who just turned 23 years old four days ago, ruled the women's open with a time of 59:28.58.
Southwestern University’s Mary Joy Tabal placed second in 1:03:38.68, while Madelyn Carter landed third in 1:05.30.25.
University of Southern Philippines Foundation's Joel Delposo was the fastest in the men’s 7Ks open with a time of 24:09.41. Ian Bernido finished second in 24:40.84 followed by Michael Estrera in 25:09.53.
The fast-rising Crizel Dingson lorded it over in the women’s 7K in 30:23.43, while Joeyry Lee was second in 30:36.02. Aiza Suwaybaguio grabbed the third spot with the time of 31:02.17. – THE FREEMAN
