Qualfon pummels Western Wats

CEBU, Philippines - Qualfon pummeled Western Wats, 67-49, in the ongoing preliminary games of the 6th Inter-BPO Basketball Tournament 2010 last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu basketball court.

Jopher Regidor and Bobette Caballero powered the team with 24 points combined as Qualfon jumped into a hot start with 15-6 advantage at the first quarter.

Dennis Noel Poquita spearheaded Western Wats with a game-high 19 points but in a losing cause.

Aegis People Support, on the other hand, gained its second victory after fending off Calltek, 53-47, during the second game.

Jomie Mendez once again proved his superiority as he led Aegis People Support with 18 markers. Mark Louise Gellez scored 15 for the struggling Calltek.
