CEBU, Philippines - Bemedalled Cebuana netter Sally Mae Siso got what she wanted as she scored a golden treble after ruling the Cebu leg of the 1st Palawan Pawnshop Express Padala National Junior Tennis Circuit yesterday at the Cebu Country Club.
What made Sally Mae's feat extra special was that she posted a double victory in all three events she dominated in less a month.
For her latest conquest, Sally Mae was simply spectacular. She both scored a 6-0, 6-0 whitewash of Crissiane Issa Kintanar and Elma Dasian to claim the girls under-16 and under-18 titles, respectively.
Sally Mae's brother Niño, however, missed a twinkill as he fell prey to RJ Abarquez in the boys 18-under championship,6-3, 6-3.
Alexie Santos was the only other player who nailed twin crowns via the unisex 10-under and girls 12 category.
The rest who barged into the winners' podium were Christopher Encarnacion in the boys 12, Adrian Parangan in the boys 14, Fritz Satera in the boys 16, and Crissiane Kintanar in the girls 14-under. (FREEMAN NEWS)
