Cebu City to field in 3 teams to national open darts tourney
CEBU, Philippines - The cast is already complete for Cebu City’s bets to the M. Lhuillier Cup Osmeña-Rama National Open Darts Tournament at Yayoy’s Grill and Resto Bar along Orchid in Brgy. Capitol Site, this city.
The Queen City of the South will be represented by three teams - Cebu City Niños teams A and B and the City Hall Employees Darts Association (CHEDA).
Niños Team A is composed of Wennie Ocañada, Steve Montenegro, Angelito Badayos and Rayden Colina, while Team B will be bannered by Jonathan Rubi, Jomar Amerol, Boy Campugan and Junnex Perez.
CHEDA will be manned by father-and-son tandem of Bert and Mohammad Colong, Jr. together with Jomar Yap and Jun Bacalso, Jr.
CHEDA and the Niños’ lineup are based on their overall performance during the weekly Yayoy’s Grill competition last month.
City Councilor Raul “Yayoy” D. Alcoseba wants a highly competitive Cebu City roster to match up with with the formidable visiting darters from Manila, Makati, Basilan, Davao, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo and San Carlos City.
