Cabahug sizzles in Honda underbone race

-

CEBU, Philippines - Keken Cabahug lived up to all expectations as he snatched two of the five titles at stake during the second round of the Honda Motorworld Underbone Circuit Racing at Kartzone.

Cabahug of Cyrus Racing was the only rider to score a twinkill via the 125 novice open and the 100-110 super stock beginners class.

Cabahug’s teammate Gary Caneda placed second in the 125 novice open followed by TMAC-Motorworld’s Lyndon Requilme.

In the 100-110 superstock action, Cabahug outran another teammate Jes Louie Vega for the top spot, while Mark Capoy of Skut Garage/Motorworld Racing landed third.

Capoy, Requilme and Caneda did not go home empty handed though as they topped other divisions.

Capoy lorded it over in the beginners 125 superstock, while the next two spots were occupied by Vega and Cyrus Racing’s Stephen Lauron, respectively.

Requilme was unstoppable in the 4-AT all-Honda Beat class. Caneda took the second place honors, while Gilbert Miro of Skut Garage/Motorworld’Racing ended up third.

After a pair of first runner-up honors, Caneda finally salvaged a champion’s trophy through the 100-110 novice open. He outsmarted Peter Gjengaar of Motorworld Racing, while Bobby Mencias came in third.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (FREEMAN NEWS)
