CEBU, Philippines - In its aim of fielding in the most deserving darters to compose Team Cebu City, a weekly event will take place dubbed as the “Yayoy’s Grill Classified Doubles Weekly Darts Tournament” beginning this Friday.
This is the first time that a darts competition will be staged at the said venue, although its already been a while that a darts facility has been set up there.
Cebu City Councilor and Cebu City Sports Commission (CCSC) vice chairman Raul “Yayoy” D. Alcoseba strongly supports development of darts here.
Alcoseba wants to make it sure that the only the best players will represent the city in next month’s M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Cup and Osmeña-Rama Cup National Darts Competition.
With this in mind, the tournament will run for four consecutive Friday nights at Yayoy’s Grill and Resto Bar.
The event will be a classified doubles. Registration fee is pegged at P30. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
