UC College of Law captures ALSP basketball crown

CEBU, Philippines - The University of Cebu (UC) College of Law defeated the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)-Cebu Chapter Selection, 69-57, to win the basketball crown of the Association of Law Students of the Philippines-IBP Sportsfest last Sunday at the USC-Main gym.

For UC Webmasters star Kenneth Kern Sesante torched 25 points for UC-CL to became the runaway choice as MVP.

The tournament, organized by the ALSP-Visayas Chapter, was participated in by six teams:first champion University of the Visayas (UV) College of Law, 2009 champion University of Southern Philippines Foundation College of Law, University of San Carlos College of Law, Southwestern University College of Law and the IBP-Cebu Chapter.

The event aimed at fostering camaraderie among law students and lawyers in the entire Visayas.

Earlier, UV Law defeated USC Law, 64-55, to lift the third place trophy.
