2nd Cebu Rotary Run this am

CEBU, Philippines - Over a thousand running enthusiasts are set for the 2nd Cebu Rotary Run at the SM City-Cebu grounds today.

The categories to be featured include the 15K, 7K, 3K and a 200m kiddie dash.

The Kenyan Simon Losiaboi and Mary Grace de los Santos are the top runners to beat in the 15K run.

For the first time, there’s also a “dogathon” for dog lovers wherein owners will run side by side with their dogs.

“On top of promoting Rotary and a healthy lifestyle, joining the race is an opportunity to contribute to the End Polio Now, a program of the foundation to eradicate polio worldwide,” said race chairman Kenneth Casquejo. 

The second Rotary Run is hosted by Rotary Club Banilad Metro and Rotary Club of Cebu West with their major sponsors in Cebu Parklane Hotel, Jollibee, SM City Cebu, Alcordo Advertising, Summit Natural Drinking Water and Metro Grafix.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
