MS Motosuit moto-x series kicks off 5th season Sunday

CEBU, Philippines - Exciting motocross action continues in this portion of the archipelago as the MS Motosuit Motocross Series will kick off its fifth season this Sunday in the municipality of Liloan.

Billed as the Brgy. Capt. Manuel Wagas Cup, the event is among the highlights of the annual fiesta celebration of barangayJubay in honor of the miraculous Sr. Sto. Niño, which coincides with the grand Sinulog festival.

Interestingly, the race will be staged even before the formal awarding ceremony of last year’s top performers wherein all of them are candidates for the coveted “Rider of the Year” award.

They are reigning ROY honoree Seigfred Ornopia and his son Brylle, Jon-Jon Adlawan, John Flores, Dongkey Sanchez, Jun Enriquez, Felipe Montejo, BJ Pepito, and Jubenille Abellar.

In 2009, MS Motosuit under the dynamic leadership of Lou Ornopia has completed a record of 17 legs capped by the Mayor Nenneth Reluya Cup last month in San Fernando, Cebu. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (FREEMAN NEWS)
