CEBU, Philippines - Carl Almario shot even-par 72 strokes to bag the lowest gross honors in the December Monthly Medal of Cebu Country Club played last Saturday.
The class A title Joseph Yukayguan scored a net 65 off a gross 75 to win the title for class A. The runner-up honors went to junior golf standout Shotaro Suda with a net score of 66 strokes.
The class B title went to Alvin Tan, who fired a net score of 60 strokes off a gross 76. Runner-up honors went to Dr. Vic Cajita with a net score of 61.
Jose ‘Bebot’ Baldemor fired a tournament-best net score of 59 strokes off a gross 78 to win the class C title. Runner-up honors went to Ramon Yap with a net score of 63 after edging George Tsai in the count back.
Charlie Go shot a net 61 to win the class D title while Benito Gaisano finished as runner-up with his net 68.
Max Tan topped the seniors’ division with a net score of 67 edging Cesar Libi in the countback. Libi settled for the runner-up honors.
Manfred Guangko shot a net 75 to win the title for the guest division with Dino Yap, scoring the same net score, taking the runner-up honors.—NLQ (FREEMAN NEWS)
