CEBU, Philippines - The Los Amigos Basketball Association (LABA) slammed the Naga Above Forty Basketball Association (NAFBA), 95-74, for its second straight win in as many starts in the Cebu Golden Basketball League (CGBL) at the Inayawan Sports Complex.
In the nightcap, Minglanilla Basketball Association (MIBA) bounced back from its opening day loss to host Power Forty and vented its ire on the Better Run Basketball Association (BRBA), 105-77.
Former USJ-R Jaguars coach Pablo Yu exploded with 30 points for LABA, Ansing Companion added 25 markers while ex-USC Warrior Dennis Patindol chipped in 14.
Celio Repuesto led NAFBA with 22 points followed by Raul Miruel with 15.
On the other hand, Tito de la Torre and Monching Cadiz knocked in 24 and 22 points, respectively, for MIBA, which now holds an even 1-1 record.
