'Young Heroes Run' reset to Jan.9

CEBU, Philippines - The Young Heroes Run slated on Bonifacio Day at Banilad Town Centre (BTC) has been moved to Jan. 9 and has been renamed as Sinulog Kiddy Run.

Race organizers adhered to the request and feedback from schools where runners were mainly targeted to come from in postponing the run.

The new schedule falls on the day before the major Cebu Marathon.

More than the gold, silver and bronze medals at stake in three age divisions, BTC has prepared prizes in goods coming from BTC tenants.

These divisions are:

    * 08-under for a 1K run

    * 10-under for a 2K run

    * 13-under for a 3K run

The BTC Sinulog Kiddy Run will be done off the streets for the safety of the young runners but within the BTC grounds where the young runners will run laps around the parking lot.

Registration is only P200 per runner to be paid at the BTC admin office where a FREE shirt for the first 150 registrants will be given away.
