Kenyan missionary dominates another footrace in style

CEBU, Philippines - Kenyan missionary Simon Losiaboi snatched his second straight title after topping the Cebu Lakandula Lion’s Club-organized "Roar to Grow Run" at The Terraces in Ayala Center-Cebu yesterday.

Losiaboi completed the 10-kilometer race in 34 minutes and six seconds to assert his dominance over Mendel Lopez, who came in second with 34:38 clocking.

The Cebu-based Mindanao footracer Elmer Bartolo landed third with the time of 35:38 while Joel Delposo settled for fourth with 36:10 followed by Revodem Aranas with 36:12.

In the distaff side, with Mary Grace de los Santos once again reigned supreme, while Madelyn Carter and Joy Tabal occupied the second and third spots, respectively. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
