Dumlog scores twinkill in Talisay hoopla
CEBU, Philippines - Dumlog hurdled its first two assignments in the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) division of the Talisay City Mayor’s Cup Basketball tournament at the Talisay Sports Complex.
After whipping San Isidro in SK Bracket A, Dumlog claimed Lawaan II as its latest victim, 76-50.
In bracket B, Poblacion 1 and Tabunok 2 shared the top spot with one win each in the same way with Lawaan III and Tabunok 1 in bracket C.
Tabunok 2 pulled off a 56-55 squeaker over Jaclupan, 56-55, while Poblacion I outsmarted Maghaway.
Lawaan III routed Poblacion 2, while Tabunok 1 trounced Lawaan I, 64-57.
In bracket D, Pooc barged into the win column at the expense of Cansojong.
In the seniors division, Lawaan mauled Pook, 74-67, while Tabunok 2 dumped San Isidro, 71-49.
In bracket B, Lagtang outsmarted Lawaan III, 75-68, as Tanke broke the hearts of Poblacion 1, 76-75.
