AC Sports drubs BOAL in SNBA

CEBU, Philippines - The AC Sports of Archie Baba drubbed BOAL, 82-65, for its second straight win in the 2009 San Nicolas Basketball Association (SNBA) season at the Sawang Calero Sports Complex.

The AC Sports had a furious start on the way to post a commanding 42-25 lead at halftime behind the explosive tandem of power forward Ulysses Tigbas and top center Randy Cabañero.

The Sportsmasters continued to spew fire in the final two quarters to come up with a 17-point blowout.

Noel Flordeliz paced AC Sports with 17 points followed by Cabañero with 16. Tigbas added 15 points, while Danny Estrera and Baba chipped in 10 markers apiece.

Arthur Santillan and Eugene Alfar each scored 14 for BOAL, which slipped to 1-1. - GGM (THE FREEMAN)
