Lai Garden reaches GAA final
CEBU, Philippines - Lai Garden of playing coach Dr. Boy Te routed J-Art of Jimbo Noel, 78-62, to advance into the final of the 9th Guadalupe Athletic Association (GAA) Founder's Cup at the Guadalupe Sports Complex.
Lai Garden, thus, set up a championship showdown with Aqua Serv, which advanced following a 57-54 upset of Triple R Triple E.
Inting Reyes finished with 15 points for Lai Garden, while bull-strong center Chito Hernandez and former USJ-R Jaguar Allan Ricaña chipped in 14 and 12 markers, respectively.
On the other hand, Gerald Cainglet, the older brother of veteran commercial cager Alex Cainglet, nailed 12 points to spearhead Aqua Serv's stunning triumph over Triple R Triple E.
