Breakfast of the champ
What do you think Lance Armstrong had for breakfast yesterday?
Maybe just like many of us – he had rice and eggs. He even posted a picture of his food on Twitter.
Well I probably had a little more than my favorite cyclist of all time since my wife added sardines to the eggs hehehe…
Lately I have been receiving text messages from many others, who like me, are following Lance’s return to the Tour de France.
I never expected that there are so many people, including those who don’t ride bikes that are following his comeback.
I’d leave the technical matters with our favorite cycling dentist, Dr. JV Araneta, who gives us a daily insight about the TdF.
To the millions of Lance Armstrong fans, I’m sure we only have one cheer – Go Lance!

So, they have opened the world’s longest golf course in Australia.
The layout stretches for 1,365 and we’re not talking yards or meters here, but kilometers.
You don’t really have to hit a ball from tee to green that goes for about a hundred kilometers, but drive from one hole to another where a hole has been lain out.
This is a tourism activity hoping to draw attention to a stretch of 18 towns spanning two time zones.
An inaugural tournament is set on October 22 and you are invited to be in the gallery. Don’t worry, in this course cars or even trucks are allowed and not only carts.
I do know of long hitters. Yes, players who take so long to hit their shot with all sorts of pre-shot routines, which sometimes would have been more aptly called as pre-shout routines as the bad hit almost always have them yelling ‘fore.’

When Landon Donovan unleashed his tirade against Los Angeles Galaxy teammate David Beckham, I was sure that Becks would reply in a most gentlemanly manner. He did.
Becks said that while he didn’t like what Donovan did, he would talk to him in private to discuss the matter.
After their heart-to-heart talk, Becks would not say anything further about the incident except that the matters have been ironed out.
I guess more than wanting Beckham to deliver Donovan is still very unhappy with the huge tab that the team had to pay for the British star. The Galaxy better start winning its games now that Becks is back.
