Mambaling rules MLKP dance event

CEBU, Philippines – Team Mambaling emerged as the most dominant squad in the 2008-2009 Go Ching Hai-Martina Cup and ML Kwarta Padala Cup Dancesport and Hip-Hop Competition’s Grand Championships at the Atillo Gym in Brgy. Punta Princesa, this city.

Mambaling harvested two golds and three silvers from the open routine figure and the rest from the close bronze figure.

Two of Mambalings’s golds came from Dexter Quijote and Sharmaine Maloloy-on, who topped both the closed standard and open latin youth division.

The two other golds came from Adrean Veraces and Guilla Calumba in the closed standard junior class and Jason Milla and Katherine Palelio in the open junior latin class.

Cogon-Ramos came in second with three golds and two bronzes, while Lahug wound up with two golds and three bronzes.

Cogon-Ramos’ golds came from Durrel Intong and Therese Quilaton in the closed latin and standard juvenile class and Patrick and Therese Andre Quilaton in the open standard juvenile.

Lahug’s golds were produced by Robert Alinabon and Joana Casibo in the closed latin junior class and Jordan Taborada and Sheila Marie Dono in the latin open youth class.

Pasil and Tejero shared the fourth spot with a gold and a bronze each.

Tejero’s gold came from John Paul Mocorro and Annaly Zuazo in the open latin juvenile, while Pasil’s gold was handed by Sean Philip Piner and Deysiree Nanca in the open standard junior class. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
