SCSIT, Mother Therese make final in softball tilt

CEBU, Philippines - The Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) and the Talisay-based Mother Therese squad book final berths in the 2009 Vice mayor Michael Rama Cup Softball Tournament in Brgy. Labangon, this city.

SCSIT is now waiting for its championship opponent in the senior A as well as Mother Therese in senior B category.

SCSIT advanced into the gold medal match after scoring a 3-0 whitewash of Team Locans.

The Locans though still have a chance for march into the final if they beat the winner of the Durabend-Energo showdown.

On the other hand, Mother Therese stunned Paknaan by a hairline, 5-4, to clinch the first final slot in senior B.
