Hoop It Up rules Pardo U-16 hoop

CEBU, Philippines – The Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT)-powered Hoop It Up Summer Camp of coach Marvin Felices defeated the University of San Carlos-South Campus (USC-SC), 86-82, to clinch the juniors crown of the 1st Pardo Brgy. Capt. Dasmariñas Cup Inter-School Under-16 basketball tournament recently at the Pardo Sports Complex.

The third place honors went to Ave Maria Sanctuary Park-sponsored University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R Jaguars after defeating the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit.

The other participating teams were Don Bosco and Pardo Selection.

The games were supervised by commissioner Ope Abellana, a barangay councilor in Pardo who is also the Passarelle coach of USC-SC. – GGM (THE FREEMAN)
