Deep Recon tops Cebu leg of Filipino Airsoft Championships
CEBU, Philippines – Deep Recon ruled the Cebu leg of the Filipino Airsoft Championships over the weekend at the Ramon Durano Sr. Memorial Sports Complex in Danao City.
Deep Recon, composed mostly of airsoft buffs from Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue, put their acts together to emerge victorious with a total of 850 points.
The Mandaue Airsoft Group, one of the early favorites in the Congressman Red Durano-sponsored event, placed second with 750 points followed by Team Yawkoy with 550.
Three other teams in Crack Legion, S.A.A.T and C.A.S.T were just as lucky as the top three placers as they also made it to the Visayas finals set next month also here in Cebu.
Black Aces and NSW8 failed to get a slot for the next action, but they had something to be proud of. The Black Aces bagged the Sportsmanship award, while NSW8 emerged as the best in load bearing. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
