Martus to take part in WYSc open tourney

CEBU, Philippines – Top Cebuano word wizard Teodoro Martus, Jr. will again try to assert his superiority as he competes in the open category of the World Youth Scrabble Championships (WYSC) Qualifying Round and Open tournament on May 30-31 at the Kotico Activity Center of Robinson’s Galleria Mall in Ortigas Center in Pasig City.

Joy Policher, a senior high school student of the University of the Visayas (UV), will also be seeing action in the two-day event under the youth category.

The top 10 finishers in the youth division will earn the right to represent the country in the 4th World Youth Scrabble Tournament in Johor Bahru, Malaysia from December 8 to10.
