Adlawan rules sixth leg of MS Motosuit moto-x

CEBU, Philippines - Jon-Jon Adlawan emerged as the biggest winner in the sixth leg of the MS Motosuit Motocross Series as he bagged a pair of titles during the 1st Cebu Landmasters Inc. Invitational Motocross last Saturday in the southeastern Cebu municipality of Pinamungajan.

Adlawan, who is incidentally an MS Motosuit image model, topped the pro open and expert categories. He was trailed by Weng Yapparcon in the pro open, while the next three spots were occupied by Jubenile Abellar, Jovanni Abellar, and Paolo Inoc.

Jubenile Abellar placed second in the expert class followed by Jovanni Abellar, Clark Wagas and Yapparcon.

Donkley Sanchez also came up with a double championship through the beginners open and open enduro.

Ryan Quirol and Bonnie Bustillo finished second and third, respectively, in the beginners open, whileBustillo and Banjo Monilar wound up second and third in the open enduro.

Bustillo made sure he will go home with a crown by lording it over in local enduro. The next four seats were taken by Sanchez, Dong-Dong Batikin, Joseph Panuldi, and Alex Abalo.

Jubenille Abellar, reigning "Rider of the Year" Seigfred Ornopia of Keiz BJ Racing Team, MS Motosuit image model John Flores, Adonis Famador, and Butch Flores also stepped into the winner's podium.

Abellar topped the intermediate class after edging out Wagas. Yapparcon settled for third followed by Paolo Inoc and John Flores.

John Flores though bounced back with aplomb to rule the novice open production that saw Ryan Quirol and Ornopia placing second and third.

Ornopia though still has a reason to celebrate as he reigned supreme in executive A over Aloy Igot and Gener Sicad.

Famador ruled the executive B followed by Gener Sicad and Rossel Gungob, while the top four performers in executive C were Butch Flores, Felipe Montejo, Nonoy Reluya, and Titing Sicad.

Completing the roster of triumphant riders in the swashbuckling race sponsored by Castrol in partnership with Pinamungajan Mayor Geraldine Yapha and businessman-sportsman Joe Soberano

were Brylle Ornopia and Ken Ornopia.

Brylle baged the mini class title over BJ Pepito and Tam-Tam Largosa, while Ken was unoposed in the pewee classification. – EBV (THE FREEMAN)
