Cobras swallow Builders in Toledo cagefest

-

CEBU, Philippines – The Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras handed the CCC-CSD Builders their first loss in three games, 81-67, in the 1st Vice Mayor Rudy Espinoza Cup last Wednesday night at the Barba Sports Complex in Toledo City.

The Cobras, who recently won their second straight title in the National Students Basketball Championships (NSBC) in Butuan City, used their speed and quickness to wear down the Builders. They went on to take full control of the match after taking a 40-31 lead at halftime.
