CEBU, Philippines - After the resounding success of Cebu’s first night supercross, the 2009 MS Motosuit Motocross Series gets back into day time action with the staging of its fourth leg billed as the “11th Ornopia Cup” this weekend in Calambua, San Remigio.
Just like the previous legs of the Castrol-presented series, a huge number of riders from all over Visayas and Mindanao are expected to see action.
Each of the race under the MS Motosuit Series has different reasons why it is being held, but the Ornopia Cup is something special.
That is because during the eighth edition of the Ornopia Cup, the MS Motosuit Motocross Series came to birth and since then, motocross in Cebu has never been this alive.
And despite the global economic crisis, the Ornopia family wants to keep this tradition so they put their resources together including Keiz BJ, RMO Motor Parts, and F &FO, along with Reliance Motor Sales, Dr.Felipe Montejo, Joy Flores, San Remigio Mayor Mariano Martinez, and barangay captain Gomersendo Jubay among others for the continuation of the race.
Proceeds of the event will be donated for the completion of Calambua Elementary School’s perimeter fence. THE FREEMAN)
