Everything is already in place for what promises to be one of biggest and richest lawn tennis events in Cebu dubbed as the Mandaue City Open Tennis Championships on April 28 to 29 at the Mandaue City Tennis Club courts.

A total of P60,000 in cash prize is at stake in the two-day tilt that features the singles and doubles competition.

The champion in the singles category will take home a whopping P20,000, while the second placer will pocket P10,000. The same bounty awaits the top two performers in the doubles class.

Entry fee is pegged at P300 for both the singles and doubles. Registration forms are available at the MCTC canteen through Fil Latonio.

Those who are interested to join the tournament have only until 8 pm of April 27 to enlist. The qualifying matches will be on the 28th, while the main draw will be contested the following day.
