CEBU, Philippines - The Yaw-Yan Ardigma Martial Arts Federation, Inc. is now accepting students for its extensive Summer Class starting on April 1 at the Yaw-Yan Ardigma Gym situated at Room 304 of Villacampa-Capuras Building along Sanciangko Street, this city, just across the University of Cebu (UC)-Main campus.
Yaw-Yan Ardigma is an all-around form of martial arts using the body as weapon. It trains the students in different areas of teaching ranging from punches, kicks, head and shoulder butts, elbow and knees to take down and ground fighting techniques. Yaw-Yan Ardigma is as effective in the ring as it is on the streets.
Yaw-Yan's program is a very good source of self-control, discipline, and self confidence.
The Yaw-Yan Ardigma training develops focus, skills and presence of mind aside from empowering its disciples the ability to use all body parts in the defensive and offensive fashion. It provides various strategies that are applicable for realistic combat competition. It imparts disarming, locking, and releasing techniques as well as shapes up effectiveness for counter-attacks and defenses.
Aside from the Yaw-Yan Ardigma System, other courses offered in the month-long training program include arnis, boxing, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
"Aside from being an effective agent of weight loss, Yaw-Yan Ardigma's comprehensive training guarantees several other positive effects to our students because it also conditions their mind and body as well as builds up strength and endurance necessary for a healthy lifestyle," said Yaw-Yan Ardigma Cebu founder and Vis-Min director Master Benigno "Ekin" R. Caniga, Jr.
