CEBU, Philippines - Four Cebuanos made waves in the National Open action of the FIM Motocross of Asia recently in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Jon-Jon Adlawan, the latest endorser of MS Motosuit, placed second in the pro open class and made it to the top 10 in the international action.
Ted Conde of Team Castrol-Quickflight Racing, on the other hand, came out fifth in the pro race and second in the international scene.
Conde also showed lots of guts against several foreign riders to barge into the top eight in the international competition.
For his part, Keiz BJ Racing Team big boss Seigfred Ornopia got some valuable lessons from his trip in Palawan.
Ornopia was leading in the first moto but being not too familiar with the racetrack, he suffered a bad fall in the final moto. He’s fortunate enough though to finish fourth in the executive class and fifth in the veterans division.
Keith Galaura, another Castrol-Quickflight rider, added color to Cebu’s campaign by bagging the third place honors in the beginners class. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
