Are you ready for the school break?
In a few more weeks, the kids will be off from school and parents will start looking around for stuff that the children can do to make the most out of the two months or so away from the rigors of the academe.
This school break, what do you want your kids to do? Would you just want to see them at home whiling the time away watching television the whole day or playing on-line games or maybe tinkling with their electronic games?
While many parents and children already have something in mind or scheduled for the school break, many are yet to decide on what to do.

I was with a group of dedicated sporting parents a couple of weeks ago for the launching of the Junior Golf Association of Southern Philippines (JGASP) at the Cebu Country Club.
The group aims to push the junior golf programs of various clubs in Visayas and Mindanao through linkages and tournaments.
The core group of the new organization includes the following clubs – Alta Vista Golf and Country Club, Cebu Country Club, Mactan Island Golf Club, Iloilo Golf Club, Del Monte Golf and Country Club, Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club, and Zamboanga Golf and Country Club.
This group was initiated by the parents and the clubs have gladly thrown in their support also.

MILESTONES: Happy birthday greetings go to Maria Carla ‘Long Hair’ Estella, who turns a year older today.
I’d also like to wish my former classmate and comare Edna Lee an advanced happy birthday as she turns a year older tomorrow along with Christine Inocencio-Aldeguer and also my mistah Adelio Abrugena.
