Mambaling dominates 14th leg of inter-brgy. dance contest

CEBU, Philippines - Mambaling carted away two golds, two silvers, and two bronzes to dominate the 14th leg of the Go Ching Hai-Martina and M.Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Cup Dancesport and Hip-Hop Competition in Barangay Tisa, this city.

Sunrish Conde and Cheska Anoza produced the two golds of Mambaling through the juvenile latin and modern standard competition.

Host Tisa wound up second with a gold and a bronze courtesy of its youth division bets Mark Joseph Becite and Kristel Gucor.

Buhisan and Tejero shared the third spot with a gold each.

Lahug and Cogon-Pardo left the venue with a silver and a bronze each, while Hipodromo and Guadalupe got a silver apiece.

Becite and Gucor, on the other hand, won the closed competition’s youth latin and standard unopposed so as Lorraine and Dominique Pacana in the juveline latin and John Lexlis and Jane Montero in the junior latin action.

In the hip-hop contest, the Apocalypses shone the brightest followed by Higher Impact and Play Boiz at second and third, respectively. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
