Assessment Division makes 35-below final

CEBU, Philippines - Former Bohol Institute of Technology (BIT) standout Jogie Navaja scored 26 and Viking Rollon added 25 points as the Assessment Division avenged its first round loss to Amacia Brokers, 84-77, in the14th District Collector’s Cup at the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym in Brgy.  In the 35-above division, the Cebu-Customs United Personeros Association (C-CUPA) bagged the third place honors with a vengeful 79-71 win over the Enforcement Security Service (ESS) Customs Police. The first time they met, ESS pulled off a 98-97 squeaker behind the heroics of Sanshane Joseph Barita.

Yolly Sena and Amay Palad topped C-CUPA with 18 and 15 points, respectively. The tandem of Gary Sicat and Bong Mabalo led ESS with 31 points combined.
