Orange completes semifinals cast in USC PTCA hoop

CEBU - Jun Nuyda scattered 18 points as Team Orange bested Red, 83-78, to claim the fourth and last semifinal ticket in the 8th USC-BED South Campus PTCA, Inc. basketball tournament at the USC-South Campus covered court.

Earlier, the USC Alumni-North Campus defeated Junel Trucking, 98-94, in a non-bearing match, while Green won by forfeiture over the Navy Blue but the latter still made it into the semis as the third seed.

The crossover semis will be played on February 8, with the Maroon squad (4-0) taking on Orange in the first game at 9 am and the Yellow (4-0) cagers squaring off against Navy Blue.

Edmund Odulio, Dean Wong and Jun Monsanto conspired for 74 points for USC Alumni. Esteban Cesar Ortega had 32 points for Junel Trucking.
