Inter-barangay dance contest resumes

CEBU - After a short break, the inter-barangay dancesport competition dubbed as the Go Ching Hai and Martina Cup returns to action with the staging of its 11th leg in Brgy. Pasil this afternoon.

Over 200 aspiring dancers from Pasil and its neighboring barangays are expected to showcase their wares.

So far, the barangays which have already hosted the event supported by M.Lhuillier Kwarta Padala include Pardo, Apas, Mambaling, Tejero, Guadalupe, Pahina Central, Punta Princesa, Kamputhaw, Cogon Pardo and Ramos.

The contest, spearheaded by Dancesport-Team Cebu City, aimed at giving the newcomers a chance to display their know-how in both latin and modern standard dances and hopefully get a slot in the elite DTCC. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
