3-in-one motorsport spectacle slated January 8-11

CEBU – A three-in-one motorsport tilt dubbed as “Cebu Auto and Racing Show (CARS)” is set to take place on January 8 to 11 at the Park Mall in Mandaue reclamation area.

The event features a car show, an autocross competition and the kick-off leg of the Kartzone Go-Kart Racing Championships 2009.

Competition in the car show includes the best in show, paint, interior and engine display, best in stock, best dressed, best European, Japanese, American and classic.

Aside from that, this HAIGE Blue Star Marketing-organized activity along with Park Mall, Kartzone and Racing Line, will have a sound off competition. 

On the other hand, the autocross event as well as the karting action will feature the best Cebuano speed racers against the rest of the seasoned drivers in the other parts of the country.

Entry fee for the pre-Sinulog spectacle is pegged at P5,000 for the indoor Auto Show, P1,000for the sound off competition, P1, 500 for karting, and P1,000 for autocross. The deadline for registration will be on January 2.
