DBTC eyes sweep of Cebu Inter-School

CEBU – The powerhouse Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) vies for inaugural crown today in the mini and midget divisions of the 1st Metro Cebu Inter-School Basketball Challenge at the DBTC basketball courts.

DBTC clashes with SHS-J for the championship of the mini division. Earlier, DBTC edged Cebu Eastern College 43-39 while Sacred Heart School-Jesuit (SHS-J) overpowered Southwestern University (SWU) 53-13 to arrange the titular showdown.

In the midget division, DBTC battles the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R). The DBTC dribblers made it to the finals after SHS-J defaulted in their semis match while USJ-R halted SWU 48-41.

Team World of Fr. Lan Guiao, with Boy Andoyo, Harry Lim, Rey Villagracia and Rey Cañete, are managing the tournament.

Cebu City Vice-Mayor Mike Rama, Guardo Sports Foundation, Globe Broadband, Growee Vitamins, Prosel Pharma, King’s Quality Foods, Atty.
