CCC Builders battle M. Lhuillier in Lutopan tonight

CEBU - The Carmen Copper Corporation (CCC) Builders of coach Boboy Cal will host the multi-titled M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Niños in an exhibition match tonight at the CCC Recreation Center in Lutopan, Toledo City.

Builders consultant Romy Cal said prior the CCC-M. Lhuillier duel, the PPD/Mine Underground Division will square off against the Admin/Security Division in the preliminary match.

The Lutopan goodwill is supported by Tessie Cal, the president of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish Pastoral Council.

The Builders, the champion of the 1st Aloguinsan Mayor’s Cup Open tournament last month, are beefing up their roster in order to put up a good fight against the Niños of coach Raul “Yayoy” Alcoseba.

 The Builders will be reinforced by ex-pro Jimwell Torion and USJ-R Jaguar speed demon Armand Ponce plus a surprise big man. They can also count on Jerry Jaca, Aldrin Ocañada, Raul Redulosa, Melbert Sayson, Jared Kane Abatayo, Roy Arnado, and Jan Monatalbo.

 The Niños, the inaugural champion of Liga Pilipinas, have a more formidable lineup composed of top gunner Stephen Padilla, Marlon Basco, Ron Capati, Gerry Cavan, Jayford Rodriguez and the very elusive guard Woodrow Enriquez. (GGM) (THE FREEMAN)
