CEBU - Runners will have only until today to register for this Sunday’s PCS Cebu Pink October Run at the Cebu Doctors’ University gym.
There are two registration centers for the event - Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital care off Baby at 254-9246 or at the PCS office at CUPSI laboratory through Miriam at 0917-3248046.
The competition features three race lengths, the 3K, 5K and 10-kilometer run.
The 3K class is the latest addition and is intended for all medical students of the different medical schools in Cebu City.
Organized by the Philippine College of Surgeons Cebu-Eastern Visayas Chapter with technical support from the Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE) led by Joel Baring and the Sight First Clinic Running Club of Dr. Yong Larrazabal, this Pink October Run is held mainly to promote breast cancer awareness.– Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
