CEBU - The 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series plunges back to action with the staging of back-to-back legs in separate venues this month.
First to go will be the Mayor Avelino Gungob Motocross Challenge on October 25 in Consolacion.
The following day will be the 13th leg of the annual series spearheaded by Lou Ornopia in Cadauwan,Tabogon.
The race is scheduled in two straight days to maximize the presence of MS Motosuit endorser Glenn Aguilar, the 11-time national champion and one-time Asia Pacific title-holder. He will compete in the special pro race again and hopefully in the experts class.
The back-to-back tilt is presented by Imarflex Evvo Motorcycle Battery in association with the LGU of Consolacion led by mayor Avelino Gungob, Keiz BJ Motorsales, Cebu Progess Marketing, Reliance Motor Sales, MS Digital Prints, and MS Unlimited.
This is the first time in three years that the MS Motosuit Series has reached 13 legs.
Ornopia said there are more legs that are still being finalized for the rest of the year.
With that, those riders who are behind in points for the overall championship in their respective divisions still have a chance to catch up with the front-runners. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
