Fajardo, Capoy score double victory in OZR Underbone racing
CEBU - Zandro Fajardo and Mark Capoy scored twin victories in the fourth leg of the 2008 OZR Underbone Circuit Racing dubbed as the 5th Danao City Mayor’s Cup the other day.
Fajardo ruled the experts open and the motard competition.
Fajardo defeated Andrei Ursal and former Pantra King of the Philippines Jessie Garcia in the experts class.
In the motard open, which uses hybrid bikes, Fajardo again edged out Ursal for the title. Robby Niel Enriquez, Mark Capoy and Aike Tumbiga rounded up the top five placers.
Capoy, on the other hand, made up from his setback in the motard race by dominating the mix automatic and Danao-locals division.
Capoy outclassed Seth Capuras for the top spot in the mix automatic, while Lyndon Requilme came out third.
In the all-Danao race, Capoy prevailed over Gilbert Miro and Arnold Vega.
The rest of the victorious daredevils were Lyndon Requilme (beginner’s 110 class), Kenneth Ouano (beginners 125), and Bobby Mencias (novice open). – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
