This year’s Milo Little Olympics will be formally launched this morning during the weekly SCOOP-Cebu Forum at the Baseline Restaurant.
Expected to grace the affair is Milo Sports executive director Pat Goc-Ong and the Visayas region’s lead organizer Ricky Ballesteros.
Over 100 schools from different parts of Cebu and its nearby cities and provinces have already confirmed their entry in the two-weekend competition, which will formally open tomorrow afternoon at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Among the highlights of the kick-off bash is the selection of the Miss Milo Little Olympics in both the elementary and secondary divisions.
The tournament schedule is on September 6-7 and September 13 to 14.
The events to be contested are athletics, swimming, badminton, chess, scrabble, gymnastics, table tennis, lawn tennis, taekwondo, sipa, sepak takraw and volleyball. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
