3rd Gullas Cup shootfest set Oct. 11-12 in Talisay
The city of
Over 300 entries from different gun clubs nationwide are expected to strut their wares in the two-day shootfest.
80 of the competitors are from the Talisay Aqua Gun Club led by Talisay City Vice Mayor Aberdovey Belleza.
The city’s sports commission led by councilor Rodi Cabigas has already set aside P50,000 for the event, but P50,000 more is needed to ensure the smooth flow of competition.
Among the categories to be contested are the open, modified, standard, production and revolver.
Aside from the top three honors, participants will also vie for the special awards in the IPSC category that involves the juniors, ladies and seniors as well as for the best open, production, and standard entry.
The best club and NROI team will also receive special awards.
Registration fee for non-members of the organizing club is pegged at P650, while members and lawmen will be assessed with P350 only. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol with Liv Campo
