Golden Lines drubs Boysen Paints in Vic hoop

The Golden Lines crushed Boysen Paints, 93-65, at the start of the Vic Enterprises Invitational Basketball League 2008 at the CEC gym.

Team captain Roel Sestoso stoked the early offensive fire for Golden Lines by scoring all his 10 points in the first period. Golden Lines dictated the tempo of the match right at the outset and went on to mount a commanding 61-47 advantage heading into the last quarter.

Veteran commercial cager Alex Cainglet spearheaded Golden Lines’ fiery upsiring in the windup by nailing 14 of his game-high 16 points in that stretch. Sestoso and Cenabre backed up Cainglet with 10 markers apiece.

Mark Capili and Jay Ramodez scored 15 points each for the Paint Masters, while Chris Matunog added 10.
