23 teams to join Inter-School caging

A total of 23 teams will see action in the1st Metro Cebu Inter-School Basketball Challenge on August 9 at the newly-constructed Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) gymnasium.

These are the USC-South and North campuses, USPF, USJ-R Basak campus, Bright Academy of Banilad, St. Scholastica of Lagtang, St. Anthony Learning Ceter of Cansojong, Asian College of Technology of Bulacao, St. Catherine School of Carcar City, Holy Rosary School of Pardo, Sacred Heart School-Jesuit of Canduman and Colegio de la Immaculada Concepcion-Mandaue, Cebu International School of Pit-os, PAREF-Springdale of Guadalupe, CEC, PCGS, St. Paul Learning Center of Bulacao, Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Mary Help of Christian School both of Minglanilla, Colegio del Sto. Niño, and the Don Andres Soriano Memorial School of Lutopan, Toledo City.

The event is organized by TEAM WORLD, an acronym for Talent with Effective Action Makes Work Orderly and Responsive to Leadership Development. It is created by the PE department of Don Bosco under Reynaldo Villagracia.

The tournament director is Mateo Harry Lim, Jr. assisted by Domingo “Boy” Andoyo, while the commissioner is CESAFI referee Rey Cañete.

The categories to be contested are mosquito (8-under), mini (10-under), and midget (12-under).—GGM
