MORE EXECUTIVES
TO
In my last column, I mentioned that members of the Cebu Executive Runners Club namely Vic Verallo, Jesse Taborada, Steve Ferraren, Sergs Amora, Billy Tan, Bernie Lanutan, Ruday Tindugan, Jun Quibranza and Meyrick Jacalan, are training for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon on December 7. Well, more members are joining. Turning Capote, Dodong Sulatre, George Evangelista, Hearthy Satina, Roel Militar and oh yes John Pages, the lone casualty in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon. John who’s suffering from an injury vowed to finish this time after learning a bitter lesson in
NO DEAL
There’s no truth to the rumor former heavyweight champion Evander “Real Deal” has phoned Manny Pacquiao to borrow money. But it’s true Holyfield is dead broke. That’s probably one reason he wants to keep on fighting at age 45. Holyfield’s $10 million estate in Suburban Atlanta is under foreclosure, his ex-wife is suing him for unpaid child support and a Utah consulting company, is also suing for unpaid landscaping job on his 95 hectare estate in 2006. Holyfield informed his ex-wife he could no longer afford to make his $ 3,000 – a month support payment to one of his children. Funny how the cookie crumbles, “Papaak na lang ko usab kay Tyson” is probably one option for Holyfield. Holy smoke!
BOOBS
I just couldn’t help but be amused on my “paisano” George Nava True’s article on breasts. Nava said millions of women are at risk for sagging breasts because of jogging. According to a study, jogging puts a lot of pressure on the breasts causing them to bounce vertically up to eight inches. Women with big breasts (are you listening Keana Reeves and Pamela Anderson?) 20 pounds or more, are the most affected. The answer to this problem is wearing a good sports bra but this does not stop the breasts from bouncing. So, “sa ato pa” it’s better to be flat-chested? I’m sure Ara Mina would say “no way”.
