3-on-3 caging in ‘Lacion this Sunday

After the youth, it’s time for the older ones to show off their hoop skills in the 2008 Vice Mayor Ember Alinsug “Sobra sa Kuwarenta” 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament starting at 8:00 in the morning on Sunday at the Consolacion Sports Complex.

Event organizer Paul Flores, a former member of the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws in the UAAP, said this is the third of a series of 3-on-3 cage tilts they organized.

“We already staged similar competitions for the 12 and 18-under hardcourt hopefuls. This time, it’s for the 40 years old and above players,” said Flores.

Flores said registration is free, but all the participants should be a certified resident of Consolacion.

All players must be present during the opening ceremony. Failure to do so means outright forfeiture.

Each team shall be composed of four players. At least one member should be over 40 years old, while the rest must not be less than 35 years old.
