MandaueJaycees Notch second victory in JBA
The Mandaue Jaycees dumped RC Goldline-Alcatel, 60-48, for its second straight victory in the Jaycees Basketball Association (JBA) President’s Cup at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
In the other game, Versacool pulled off a 66-64 squeaker over Landview.
With Nestor Patindol and Ritchie Garcia at the helm, Mandaue Jaycees broke a close contest into a lopsided game by posting a dozen points lead, 43-31, going into the final canto. They never looked back from there.
Patindol and Garcia finished with 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the Mandaue Jaycees.
The undermanned RC Goldline was led by Dennis Que with 18 points followed by Dave Lim with 17 points.
In the other game, Edmund Odullo kept his sizzling offensive to topscore for Versacool with 22 points. He was ably backed up by Jeremy Huang and Benedict Chua with 15 and 10 markers.
Mark Hing paced Landview with 17 points.
