CBM Novice swimfest slated June 1
Neophyte swimmers will get a chance to showcase their wares with the staging of the 1st Cebu Blue Marlin Novice Age-Group Swimfest on June 1 at the
The competition will divided into seven age brackets:6-under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 and 18-above.
The 6-under and 7-8 age bracket entries will have six events to choose from - 100m individual medley, 25m backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke and 25m and 50m freestyle.
The upper age brackets, on the other hand, will have the 50m backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly, and the 100m IM, 50m and 100m freestyle.
There will also be two special events for the 9-10 up to 15-above competitors, the 4x50m stair step medley relay and the 4x50m stair step freestyle relay.
Registration fee is pegged at P200 per swimmer.
