MS Motosuit moto-x series set to hold four legs in May

It’s a fully-loaded month of May with four legs to be contested under the 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series starting with the fourth leg in Sagbayan, Bohol tomorrow.

This will be the first time that Bohol plays host to the motocross series after a balikbayan from Sagbayan prodded Lou Ornopia, the man behind the event, to include a leg in their area.

The other race dates include the Mayor Erwin Agustino Cup in Ayungon, Oriental Negros on May 6, the Mayor Mar Martinez Cup in San Remigio on May 11, and the Moalboal Mayor Yvonne Cabaron’s Invitational Competition on May 15.

Despite the proximity of the dates of each race, the organizers are not worried of the riders’ attendance as the riders themselves have already committed to join the action not only for the money, but for prestige and points they needed for the overall rankings.

This May’s action is backed up by Castrol Power1, Imarflex Battery Manufacturing, Cebu Progress Marketing, Keiz BZ Motorsales, Gaib Fork Oil, MS Digital Print, and 888 Headercore Muffler Tech.

The fourth leg alone is supported by the Suarez Brothers, Mayor Jimmy Torrefranca, Du Ek Sam,YS Construction, Design and Build.

Meanwhile, there are two other areas that are hoping to be included in the series. These are Buhisan and Dipolog. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
